ABOUT

I’m an emerging ceramic artist based in Alto Pass, southern Illinois, surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest.

I am currently in my second year of an apprenticeship at Alto Clay Works, working under the guidance of potter Stephen Grimmer, whose practice focuses on traditional wood firing.

I came to clay in 2021, during the pandemic, and immediately felt a deep connection. Working at the wheel — engaging the body and the four elements — became a grounding and balancing practice during an uncertain time.

My work includes both functional, everyday ceramics and sculptural, decorative pieces created through exploration and play. All of my work is handmade from start to finish, with care and attention at every stage of the process.

I share my work and process on Instagram, and my ceramics will be available through my online shop once it opens. Updates and early access are shared through my mailing list.

Sign up for the newsletter to receive notifications when my shop goes live.
